1. B Meet Results!

Our Dolphins swam well at the last B meet of the year at Mansion House. As a team they dropped an additional 3 minutes and 19 seconds. This leaves them a mere 11 seconds short of their season long goal of 23 minutes! Can they drop more time in their upcoming meets? You better believe it!

PLEASE NOTE THE TIME CHANGE AND SEE CALENDAR BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS. Swimmers participating in this meet are listed in the attached meet sheets. One list is organized by swimmers' names (girls first) and the other is by event. Please check to see if your swimmer is in the meet. If your swimmer is sick and cannot swim their event(s) please contact the Team Reps ASAP at [email protected]

Thank you to those who have volunteered for the meet. All shifts will be adjusted one hour earlier. We still need a few folks: 2 Marshals and 1 Timer. Sign up now!

As you all know, all families are asked to work 4 volunteer shifts. Has your family completed their 4? Take advantage of the volunteer shifts coming up at this Saturday’s A meet @ CCH, the IM Invitational (Monday, 7/22) the Dolphin Duel (Thursday, 7/25) and Divisionals (Saturday, 7/27) to ensure that your family has done their part! 4. Upcoming Calendar

Friday, July 19th – Friday Movie this week – The Lion King (PG) 2pm at Kingstowne

• It’s the new version of The Lion King (PG) this week! We will be seeing the 2pm showing at Kingstowne theatre! Arrive early as this is opening week!

Friday, July 19th at 6pm – Pep Rally – The Pie in the Coaches’ Face!

• A timeless classic involving trivia questions and lots of whipped cream. Of course, we will announce practice monsters and decorate our sidewalks with Dolphin Spirit! Stay tuned for more details.

Friday, July 19 from 6:00 to 7:30pm: Lobster in the Park - a fundraiser for the Dolphins

• Pre-orders can be picked up between 6:00pm- 7:30pm at the pool.
• VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - We are asking for your help. We need 3 individuals to assist in helping to sort and hand out orders. Volunteer time is 5:30pm-7:30pm and will count towards volunteer shifts.

Saturday, July 20th – Last A meet – Waynewood @ Country Club Hills – 8AM

(TIME CHANGE! PLEASE NOTE START OF MEET - 8AM!)

• IMPORTANT: Due to the severity of weather on Saturday our meet against CCH has been changed to start at 8am. Saturday’s temperature is predicted to be 100 with a heat index of 110. Concern and safety for our swimmers and their families is a priority and after discussing with our NVSL rep and Country Club Hills it was advised we start the meet an hour earlier. It’s going to be hot regardless so please make sure you and your swimmer are hydrated. Thank you for your understanding and support.
• ALL Swimmers should be up at the pool at 6:15am (PLEASE NOTE TIME CHANGE) to caravan to Country Club Hills at 3622 Old Post Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030 . Remember to notify the Team Reps if you will be driving separately.
• Waynewood swimmers will warm up 7:25am-7:45am. Call for first event to Clerk of Course is at 7:50am
• The traditional Team Lunch will be held at P.J. Skidoos, 9908 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22030, following the meet.
