Meet Sheet

Attached is the final IM Invitational Meet Sheet. Please print before the meet or view it on your phone. The Meet Manager has limited the alternates to 8 official alternates for each event. We have official alternates in the following events:

• Boys 8 & Under Fly
• Boys 10 & Under IM
• Boys 13 - 14 IM
• Girls 13 - 14 IM
• Girls 15 -18 IM

It is up to the official alternates if they want to attend the meet on a chance of swimming. The lower your number, the more likely you are to get placed in an event. 8 & Unders and 15-18’s often have the best chance.

Location and Parking

The meet starts at 5pm on Monday. It is located at Hayfield Farms Pool, 7820 Hayfield Rd. Alexandria, VA 22315. Please allow plenty of time for travel during rush hour and parking. Swimmer Drop off will be along the entrance to the pool on Hayfield Road. Please watch for the parking marshal’s direction. The Parking lot is reserved for meet officials. See attached map of the pool area. Waynewood will be in Team Area 6.

Thank you to all who volunteered for this meet! Please check your shift times because some volunteer positions start earlier than the actual meet. Thanks, again!

3:35 – 3:50 PM 13-14 Swimmers

3:50 - 4:05 PM 11-12 Swimmers

4:05 – 4:20 PM 9 – 10 Swimmers

4:20 – 4:35 PM 8 & U Swimmers

4:35 – 4:50 PM 15-18 Swimmers

Inclement Weather Plan.

There are storms possible in the forecast. Every effort will be made to swim the meet on Monday. If adverse weather conditions exist on meet day, the Meet Manager will make a final decision at 7:00 PM on whether to swim or postpone the meet after conferring with the Referee, Team Reps and Pool Management. Swimmers and spectators shall clear the deck immediately in the event of lightning and wait in their cars until the final decision is made. Rain date is Tuesday, July 24.

No Earlier Than Times

The following are No Earlier Times (NET) for the Events. They represent the earliest time the event will enter the pool. Please allow time for traveling, parking and getting to the Clerk of Course beforehand.
