Hello Waynewood Dolphin Swim Families -

We hope that you are all doing well. Many of us are wondering what will be happening in the upcoming months and how it may affect our swim season. We remain hopeful. However, due to the unprecedented situation, we are currently in a holding pattern with the 2020 summer swim season. With Governor Northam's "stay at home" order, we do know our season can not begin prior to June 10. We find ourselves awaiting a decision by WRA and/or the NVSL. Both entities are evaluating various scenarios and also awaiting additional information from the state of VA.

Registration

At this time, we are plan to open swimmer registration no earlier than May 15th. We will send an email out when we have activated registration on our web site.

Coach Applications

Thank you to all our coach applicants. As we communicated directly with all applicants earlier this week, we will not be extending offers before mid-May.

Volunteer Leads/Volunteers

Volunteer leads from the 2019 season, please let us know if you intend to continue in this position for the 2020 season. Our volunteers are critical in having a successful season. If you are interested in becoming a lead please contact us via email.

Officials

We are waiting from the NVSL on 2020 official training sessions. Dates, times and locations to be determined. If you need to renew your official credentials or are interested in becoming an official, please visit the NVSL website for tentative dates. As of today, the NVSL does not have anything scheduled. We will also notify you once this has been established.
