Dolphins Update and Call for Coaching Applications

Hello Waynewood Dolphin Swim Families -

Our new Team Reps, Frederick Hill and Tom LoCascio are moving forward with planning a Dolphin Season for 2021! NVSL held a seeding meeting in March and we are remaining in Division 7. The other teams in our Division are: Ravensworth Farm, Pinecrest, Villa Aquatic, Lakevale Estates and Sleepy Hollow Bath and Racquet. While NVSL is working on defining the parameters of our competitive season, our Team Reps are focusing on identifying a coaching staff to support that season. They are looking for folks who have the flexibility to adapt to changes and enthusiasm for our neighborhood program. The 2021 Coaching Staff will be led by returning Head Coach Dylan Keightley! We will keep you apprised of any new developments as Frederick and Tom work with NVSL and the WRA to get our Dolphins in the pool!

The selection process for coaching positions is expected to be extremely competitive this year and it's important for applicants to understand that aspects of this season will likely be different from 2019. Our Team Reps have created a Coaching Application using a jotform. Applications will be accepted until 10pm on Sunday, April 25, 2021. No late applications will be accepted. The Coach selection committee will meet the following week and our goal is to extend offers at the beginning of May.
