Friday Reminders - Pep Rally & Important A meet Details
Friday Reminders
June 18, 2021
Calling all Dolphins! Pep Rally at 6pm-- Do you have your plain Blue or White T-shirt to decorate? Come cheer & find out the practice monsters of the week!
Breaking News! Our NVSL Division Coordinator will be doing a site visit to our pool from pre-match activities through the first half. This is something of an inspection so please make extra effort to make a good impression and ensure Timers and Clerks (white shirts, blue bottoms) and marshals (vests) have appropriate attire. These are positions where everyone is acting objectively so Dolphin logos on attire and cheering are not permitted.
Final Meet Sheet: The meet sheet is attached, print and bring it along, or save a tree and view it on your phone. (Note: changes made in the last 24 hours are not reflected in the meet sheet). For those who like to keep score, the points awarded are: 5 for 1st place, 3 for 2nd place and 1 for 3rd place. Relays are all or nothing with 5 points to the winner. Go Dolphins! Waynewood Team records are noted at the top of each event. Which reminds us to announce….
Moses Wolf set a new team record at Time Trials and then broke it again at the B meet against Mount Vernon Park on Monday. The 11-12 50m Breaststroke record now stands at 37.71, replacing Alexander Micheli’s time of 38.84 from 2015. Way to go Moses!
