Waynewood Dolphins Winter Swim registration is now open!

Congratulations, Dolphins on a successful and exciting 2021 Summer season! Now on to Winter Swim! Our Waynewood Winter Swim program is a popular and affordable way to keep your kids in the pool year round! Please note that this year practice is moving to Mount Vernon Rec Center and will be split over two consecutive practice sessions.

Cost:

$265 first swimmer

$240 second swimmer

$215 third swimmer

Maximum # of Swimmers: 60

Location: Mount Vernon Recreation Center

Time: Sundays -- Session #1: 6-7 pm; Session #2: 7-8 pm

We will hold practices every Sunday evening at the Mount Vernon Recreation Center, beginning September 19, 2021 and ending May 22, 2022. Please mark your calendars that we will NOT have practice on the following holiday weekends:

November 28 (FCPS Thanksgiving Break)

December 19, December 26, January 2 (FCPS Winter Break)

April 17 (Easter Sunday)

Skill Level Required:

***Winter Swim is open to:

1) Returning members of last year's Big Dolphins team aged 13 & under;
2) Swimmers at least 6 years old by September 30, 2021, AND have completed at least one summer of Little Dolphins AND plan to swim as a Big Dolphin (8 & under) next summer. Exceptions require approval before signing up. NOTE: We do not plan to regularly have coaches in the water this year so swimmers need to be very comfortable swimming the length of the pool (10+) times per practice on their own.

Program Details: 

Coach Dylan will develop a weekly workout schedule which will be implemented by our teen coaches.
