Summer is fast approaching and we are gearing up for the 2022 swim season!

This summer, the Waynewood Dolphins will again be participating in Division 7, competing against Lakevale Estates, Ravensworth Farm, Fairfax Station, Dominion Hills, and Canterbury Woods.

Our first practice will be Tuesday, May 31 and the Divisionals Meet will take place Saturday, July 23 (this is also when we traditionally have the team banquet).

Coach Applications for the Summer Season

Keep an eye on your inboxes as we'll be sending this out soon. Swimmers will need to have completed 7th grade by this summer to apply for our most junior coaching positions.

Summer Swim Team Registration

We'll be opening registration in April and you'll be able to register through our website.

Super Sunday

Super Sunday is Sunday, May 1. We'll share details and times later but this is an opportunity to meet Team Reps and Coaches, ask questions, and buy swimsuits.

Spring Tune Up

Spring “Tune-up” swim programs are available to get your swimmer back in the water before Memorial Day weekend rolls around. Several local clubs offer these programs including the Potomac Marlins, who are sponsors of the Waynewood Dolphins. The Marlins' SUMMER PREP programs are offered for swimmers as young as 7 and begin April 11 and at GW, MV and LEE Rec centers. They are available on a first come basis.

Also, Fairfax County Rec Centers have swim programs available.
