Can you believe that the pool opens in just 5 weeks? In just the first 5 days of swim team registration for the 2022 Swim Season, we have over 70 swimmers.

SUPER SUNDAY, MAY 1 from 3-5pm (RAIN OR SHINE, WRA grounds)

Come and meet our Team Reps, Frederick Hill and Tom LoCascio with Head Coach Dylan Keightley to ask any questions. While registration will be online, our swimsuit vendor Sport Fair will be on hand to sell team suits. This is the best and most convenient time to buy and try on a swimsuit.

NEW SWIMSUITS

Our swimsuits will be a new design this year and it’s also a different brand (Arena). So watch those sizes when purchasing. Costs of suits this year are:

Male Brief -- $35.25
Male Jammer -- $42.50
Female -- $63.50

(6% tax not included)

Little Dolphins can purchase team suits if they like—sometimes they enjoy looking like the big dolphins – but there isn’t a competition need for it. If you cannot attend Super Sunday, you can purchase suits directly from Sport Fair by contacting or visiting: 5010 Lee Hwy, Arlington, VA 22207. Phone: 703-524-9500. Tell them you want the Waynewood Dolphins team suit.

Please keep in mind that while the Waynewood Dolphins swim team has worked with Sport Fair to coordinate a team suit and sell suits on Super Sunday, the team is not a party to purchases with Sport Fair and any returns or exchanges will need to be worked out directly with the vendor.

About swimsuits this year

We know swimsuits aren’t cheap and prices keep going up. We didn’t pick a new style of swimsuit because we’re trying to make a style statement but rather because manufacturers discontinue old designs and last year’s model isn’t available in sufficient quantity to ensure all swimmers would have an opportunity to purchase one.

With current global shipping challenges, our vendor advised us that we would be in best position to ensure we had sufficient supply of a team suit if we selected it in February and chose between only two models of blue suits. We do like the look of this new swimsuit but know we didn’t make a conscious decision to move away from last year’s design – that was made for us.

While having coordinated suits makes the team look sharp at meets and in photos, many (but not all) suits, are legal for NVSL meets. Let us know if you have questions about swim suits.

2022 SEASON REGISTRATION OPEN!

Registration is NOW OPEN! The cost for swimmers is $170 for the first swimmer, $140 for the second, $120 for the third, $35 each for any additional swimmers after three. The deadline for registration to ensure inclusion in the first team T-shirt and cap order is May 12.

WRA Member or Approved User number
Insurance Information
Approval of WRA Waiver, NVSL Waiver and COVID Addendum
T-shirt size (Last name)
Swim cap (optional – cost: 2 for $23) (Last name)
All email addresses to send swim team notifications for the 2022 season.

Returning families are asked to log on using the same e-mail as last year. Please do not create a new account. If you have forgotten your password, please use the forgot password function.

When registering swimmers, please put the name they want to be called in the "first name" section, even if that name is really their middle name or nickname.
