REGISTRATION UPDATE

Our team registration for the 2023 Swim season is now over 160 swimmers! If you know you’ll be swimming with us, we encourage you to go ahead and register. To be part of the first T-shirt and cap order scheduled to arrive at the beginning of the season, swimmers need to register by May 11. Be warned: If you don't make this deadline, your team T-shirt will probably come closer to the end of the season than the beginning. But we still welcome late registrations well into the season.

SUPER SUNDAY, MAY 7 from 1-3pm (RAIN OR SHINE, WRA grounds)

Team Reps, Frederick Hill and Tom LoCascio along with Head Coach Dylan Keightley will attend to answer any questions. Please consider sharing this email with any neighbors who weren’t with the team last year but may be considering joining as our email list only includes families from last season and those who have already signed up for 2023.

SWIMSUITS

While registration is online, our swimsuit vendor Sport Fair will be on hand to sell team suits at Super Sunday tomorrow. This is your chance to have a swimsuit fitting at Waynewood. If you can't make it and want a swimsuit, your other options are to drive to SportFair in Arlington or order online.

To help ensure everyone who comes tomorrow get the right size, we’ll be unlocking the changing rooms at the pool house.

If you cannot attend Super Sunday, you can purchase suits directly from Sport Fair by contacting or visiting: 5010 Lee Hwy, Arlington, VA 22207. Phone: 703-524-9500. Tell them you want the Waynewood Dolphins team suit.

SCHEDULE REVISION ANNOUNCEMENTS

We have two to announce (and a revised schedule attached):

1) Our July 3 B Meet with Hayfield Farm will now be a home meet @ Waynewood due to a scheduling difficulty our meet partner encountered.

2) For Little Dolphins, we'll extend the practice season until Thursday, July 27 to accommodate the delayed start due to FCPS going a week later. This extended session will start after the Little Dolphins mini meet on Wednesday, July 19. Little Dolphins practice on Thursday, July 20 and Friday, July 21 will go from 12:00 pm until 12:30 pm (no 5:30 pm practice either day). From Monday, July 24 through Thursday, July 27 Little Dolphins will practice from 10:00 am until 10:30 am. These practices are optional and all Little Dolphins are invited to attend this session -- there will be no afternoon practice that week.

2023 SEASON REGISTRATION OPEN!

Registration is NOW OPEN! The cost for swimmers is $170 for the first swimmer, $140 for the second, $120 for the third, $45 each for any additional swimmers after three.

Returning families are asked to log on using the same e-mail as last year. Please do not create a new account. If you have forgotten your password, please use the forgot password function.

When registering swimmers, please put the name they want to be called in the "first name" section, even if that name is really their middle name or nickname.
